St.Gallen Business Location

The St.Gallen business location is the hidden champion among Swiss business locations. It is located in the northeast of Switzerland, bordering to Germany (lake constance), Austria and Liechtenstein.

Excellent air, road and rail connections support the central location: the international airports Zurich International, Friedrichshafen and Munich Memmingen can all be reached within a 50 minutes drive. The City of Zurich is about 1h away, Munich 2h and the world famous ski resorts Davos and St.Anton about 1.5h.

On top of the very business friendly Swiss framework, St.Gallen offers a few distinctive features which have - in the last few months - convinced several global companies to invest (Wurth Group, SAP, SigmaAldrich, The Dow Chemical Company etc.). The cost of doing business is comparatively lower due to: lower employment costs, less expensive real estate costs and a very favourable tax environment. On top the Canton's adminstration puts a lot of effort in ensuring the availabilty of representative office space, land for manufacturing companies and supports investors along their evaluation and implementation process to ensure a smooth progress.
