Emmental Region
The Emmental- Oberaargau region operates on behalf of the Berne Economic Development Economic Development in the Emmental region. These include the organization of economic events, visits to regional companies as well as guiding the company database and land & property database.
The central objective of the New Regional Policy (NRP), which is being implemented in the region, is to increase the value and the strengthening of innovation in rural regions.The credo of the NRP are: created value, innovation and entrepreneurship.Projects that integrate this these criterias can be promoted.
Emmertal Region offers two different types of assistance:
Interest-free loans:
For infrastructure projects, such as the construction of a regional cultural center, the construction of regional centers of excellence, sports halls of regional importance, etc.
Contributions à fonds perdu:
For cooperation's projects, such as a pool of knowledge for technology exchanges with national and international contacts, developing a system of incentives for cooperation between businesses, etc.
