The Food & Nutrition Delta is an innovation program that aims to make The Netherlands a leading region for food innovation in Europe. The Food & Nutrition Delta is creating integrated networks and platforms to develop new technologies and enhance new business development in the food industry, with special attention being given to small and medium sized enterprises.
The Food & Nutrition Delta’s mission is to lead development of innovative, new or enhanced food products that fulfil consumer needs and expectations and have a positive impact on public health and quality of life. The agro-food industry accounts for 10% of Dutch GDP and employs over 600,000 people.
