Erfurt the capital of Thuringia
With a population of nearly 200,000 citizens and an area of approx. 269 km², Erfurt is Thuringia’s largest city. It’s central location and excellent internal traffic connections make Erfurt easily accessible to and from the rest of Germany and other European destinations.
Erfurt is a stronghold for traditional industrial fields including electrotechnical engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering, printing industries, construction firms, food processing and other consumer goods industries, with a healthy cross-section of other trades, crafts and horticulture businesses also present.
