Montpellier Méditerranée Airport
The Montpellier CCI 2002-2006 action programme, within the framework of an overall master plan, to create 3 balanced centres of development.
Three main areas of work:
- Make the best possible use of the 14 hectares at the entrance to the platform, by facilitating the establishment of service activities, head offices of companies, in coherence with the activities in proximity to the airport and the development plans under preparation for the whole of the geographical zone.The «Triangle Entrance» area has been allocated to the «PRAXIS» company who will market a 1st phase of 5000m2 of offices, for an overall SHON programme of 15000m2, as from the end of 2006.
- To revitalise development of the "Air Cargo" area. Montpellier CCI has pushed forward a real development process for new areas of activity for the airport complex. It has launched a new logistics and freight zone of nearly 30 hectares to the north of the Airport that «Languedoc Terrain» has been given responsibility for development and promotion. The first businesses will move in there as from 2007.
- To develop AeronauticalIndustrial and Maintenance sector.
