Eurobiomed
Located in southeast France in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur and Languedoc-Roussillon regions, EUROBIOMED is gathering the Health players along the French Mediterranean border.
With a network of over 400 companies, which are mainly small and medium-sized innovative firms, 8 universities, a range of higher education establishments that train some 39,000 students, 400 research laboratories, 4 university teaching hospitals and an inter-regional headquarters for clinical research, EUROBIOMED is on the way to become one of the clusters leaders in Europe.
The objectives of this cluster are to develop the health business in the south of France through innovative projects in partnership, to facilitate the establishment of young innovative companies, to help small companies in their implementation and development, to stimulate the economic development by accessing and penetrating new job-creating markets and to initiate international cooperation and inter-sectorial projects
The association's ultimate objective is to become a "one-stop shop" for offering assistance to all the stakeholders, facilitating access to information from sector experts and providing project support.
EUROBIOMED is also accredited by the French government as a competitiveness cluster that federates all the key stakeholders in life sciences and technologies in order to develop new drugs and services for the diagnosis and treatment of emerging pathologies and orphan diseases.
