Bioindustry Park Canavese is a science and technology park located in Canavese, an area near Turin in the north of Italy.
Since its beginning, in 1998, the Park promotes and develops research in biotechnologies and life sciences, hosting enterprises who want to set up research and pilot production in the chemical, pharmaceutical, diagnostic, bioengineering and iformation science fields.
As part of its core activity, Bioindustry Park offers to companies operating in the above mentioned fields research facilities and scientific services, together with a complete set of support services, such as technology transfer, patent support, tutorin/mentoring of start-ups and spin-offs, project management and financial advantages for location.
The project of the Park was adopted by the Piedmont Regional Authority as a priority in the regional industrial policy. The park project is entitled to contributions from the European Fund for Regional Development, and is jointly financed by the State and the Regional Authority, who granted a total investment of 52 million Euro.
