Northtown Technology Park
Northtown Technology Park is a public institution created to manage the innovative environment in the Campus of Northtown, Vilnius, Lithuania. Founded in August 2002 by the Vilnius City Municipality and the Ministry of Economy of Lithuania, and supported by local universities Northtown strives to become the city’s major high tech business center.
The mission of Northtown is to promote the culture of innovation and facilitate the creation and growth of technology‑based businesses by providing business advice, high quality office space and seed capital to start-up entrepreneurs.
Northtown offers office space in renovated buildings well equipped with high tech business needs in mind. Among the amenities are secretary and switching services, advanced telecommunication and security systems, high‑speed Internet access, conference rooms, kitchenettes, and spacious car parking.
Northtown also offers a virtual office facility designed for the needs of start-up entrepreneurs who can enjoy the benefits of a modern office with an attractive monthly service fee. A desk with computer, telephone answering service, shared office equipment, conference rooms, and access to business information system are included in the package.
Northtown for start-up companies can offer registration address, post receiving and storing mail service.
Northtown is working towards the growth of high tech businesses in the campus and the development of business infrastructure services available to the local business community. Being an important player in the promotion of the knowledge economy in Lithuania, Northtown focuses on the initiation of collaboration projects involving academy, business, as well as state and municipal governments.
