Poznan Airport
The Poznań-Ławica Airport is located within the Kostrzyn-Slubice Special Economic Zone that is in the centre of Europe, in western Poland, along the Polish-German border.
Created in 1997, Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone has successfully supported and services domestic and foreign investors creating new jobs in industry and services. The zone actively creates the policy of supporting entrepreneurship by leasing land with full technical infrastructure and offering a package of discounts and tax incentives for investors.
Tax benefits connected with locating investment in the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone are one of few instruments of real public support in force in Poland.
Far-reaching support of the Polish government and local authorities, who own more than 90% of shares in Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone, guarantees comfort during investment processes for investors.
In order to cope with the increasing number of passengers and meet the highest security standards, Poznań-Ławica Airport has been realizing a long-term investment plan which focuses on the following points:
- Redevelopment of apron area narrowing and building vertical signage of the airport – adaptation to the requirements of ULC (check offer).
- Redevelopment of apron area – change in organization of ground traffic of airplanes.
- Building of luminous vertical signage of airport.
- Development and adaptation of the passenger terminal to meet the requirements of the Schengen Agreement.
- Building of a new car park for passengers together with communication system.
- Building of a station for ice removal.
- Expansion of technical roads.
