Techno Hub INnovation Kawasaki (THINK) is led by a private organization. THINK carries out research of advanced technology and the development of new products with the collaboration of the academic and industry sector. The Techno Hub INnovation Kawasaki is also giving support to entrepreneurs that wish to start-up a business or to embark into new market. This is the case of the Asian Venture Business Townwhich which is based at Techno Hub INnovation Kawasaki.
Foreign researchers and venture businesses have been helped for business start up with a reduced rental fee for the office (33m-square and there to five sections per each year). Since the companies working in the field of biotechnology, nanotechnology, new raw materials and robotics have began an operation, a good collaboration can be expected.
Various Financial Loan Assistance Programs
A firm who operates longer than one year after moving to Kawasaki is eligible to be accommodated with following programs.
- Business Promotion Fund (Up to 200 million yen)
- Small Business Fund (Up to 35 million yen)
In both cases, the fund to be spent for operating and facilities' costs.
