Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau is a bureau-level public service unit responsible for the professional service of investment promotion directly under People's Government of Beijing Municipality.
The organization and setup of Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau is an important measure adopted by the municipal government for optimizing development environment, transferring governmental functions and constructing service-oriented government.
Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau aims at "emancipating the mind, keeping pace with the times, developing and making progress unceasingly, and credible service", devotes to the marketing and propagation of Beijing's economic image, wholeheartedly provides complete professional services for Chinese and foreign investors, and sets up a bridge between the government and enterprises.
Our achievements- What have we done so far?
By June 2007, we have hosted more than 100 famous enterprises, and delegations of governmental sectors, economic and trading institutions from the United States, Japan, Korea, Germany, Britain, France, Greece, and others. We have acted as an agent for nearly 1 thousand investment projects, such as Motorola, IBM, Epson, Errission, Oriental Plaza, and Beijing Hyundai Motor Company, and directly introduced over $1.000 million of investments.
At present, we provide human resources agent service for over 1,000 foreign enterprises in Beijing, we've had more than 16,000 archives, and built the professional talents recruitment website "foreign investment talents online". We also built systematic investment work platform, and developed the professional directional investment activities targeting the United States, Japan, Korea, Germany and Australia. Besides, we kept undertaking Beijing-Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Seminar for 10years, and we keep organizing the Beijing Delegation for China International Fair for Investment & Trade for 10 years.
