ZofraPort - Free Economic Zone Posorja
The Free Economic Zone Posorja, callled also Zona Franca de posorja, was created in 2003. This visionary project was a private sector initiative to develop the ideal economic zone of posorja. At the present, ZofraPort has become the first and only maritime free economic zone in Ecuador.
ZofraPort is located 120 km from the city of Guayaquil, in the province of Guayas, Ecuador. This free economic zone has excellent access to the airport and the port.
It has 200 meters of dock that allows the arrival of vessels up to 10 meters draft. Further expansion is now on the way of approximately 20 additional acres and a second dock for the benefit of current and future users.
